Accountability. Balance. Community.
As Mayor, I will work to ensure our town's finances are managed wisely, strengthen open communication with residents, and bring people together.
Nearly twenty years ago, my wife Maureen and I chose Berlin as the place to raise our children, Camden and Calvin. From the strong sense of community to the excellent schools, we knew this was home. Now, I'm excited to give back by running for Mayor of Berlin in the November 2025 election.
Berlin deserves a leader who values responsible fiscal policy, transparency, and community engagement. As Mayor, I will work to ensure our town's finances are managed wisely, strengthen open communication with residents, and bring people together.
Maureen and I fell in love with this community, and moving here was one of the best decisions we ever made. Our positive experience with the public school system inspired me to run for the Berlin Board of Education, where I have served since 2023. In that role, I have worked toward responsible budgeting and collaborated with union representatives to negotiate fair contracts. This experience has fueled my passion for contributing to the community and seeking other opportunities to serve our town.
Professionally, for the last 15 years, I have worked as a program manager for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, ensuring public funds are used efficiently and effectively. My approach to decision- making is guided by the principles of results-based accountability, and I believe that same approach is essential for leading Berlin.
I fear the divisiveness and tribalism that has been demonstrated in political arenas in recent years will eventually be our downfall. We are better than that. Here in Berlin, I seek to listen to the collective voices of the community and understand other viewpoints and perspectives.
Government transparency and communication will be a primary focus for me if elected as Mayor of Berlin. The public has a right to know how and why their tax dollars are being spent and have a voice in town decisions. Other priorities would include strengthening relationships with local schools, supporting public safety and community well-being initiatives, continuing to review amenities in town for access to all age groups, programming and housing for senior citizens, and expanding arts and culture events. The end result of all of this is to enhance the experience of residents and attract people and businesses to come to Berlin.
Beyond my professional work and role on the Berlin Board of Education, I enjoy travel, am a Broadway enthusiast, and an avid sports fan who coached Berlin recreational soccer for several years. I am currently one ballpark away from achieving my goal of visiting every Major League Baseball stadium. I love meeting new people and learning new things about our community, which is why I look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible during my campaign. I'll be out in the community knocking on as many doors as possible. I hope you open the door so I can hear what matters most to you. I invite you to join me in shaping Berlin's future.
